The system consists of the following items:

• Base frame (reusable): The base frame serves as a holding device for the various application modules and is reusable. It also contains ribs and iliac crest.
• Module 1 (disposable): Lateral access module consisting of skin, subcutaneous fat, musculus obliquus externus, musculus obliquus internus, musculus transversus.
• Module 2 (disposable): Posterior access module consisting of skin and muscle.
• Module 3 (disposable): Surgical module consisting of the vertebral bodies, L2 to L5, musculus psoas major, retroperitoneal fat and 3 operable discs.
• Module 4 (disposable): Additional module consisting of peritoneum and ureter.
• Module 5 (disposable): Additional module consisting of abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava.
